Peptic Ulcer Disease

It is a break or sore in the lining of the stomach, first part of the small intestine or the lower oesophagus.  The sores are usually formed due to inflammation caused by the bacteria called H. pylori.

Causes: H. pylori bacteria and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

Symptoms: Burning in the stomach, nausea, burping, lack of appetite, blood in the stools, feeling of fullness, fatty food intolerance and heartburn
