Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a common disorder, but not necessarily related to heat or physical activity. This type of sweating can affect just one specific area or the whole body. Though it’s not a life-threatening condition, it can make one uncomfortable and cause psychological trauma.
Causes: There is no medical cause for this type of hyperhidrosis. It may have a hereditary component, because it sometimes runs in families
Symptoms: Frequent & excessive sweating. Usually affects the hands, feet, underarms or face
