This Montreal hospital preps 360,000 meals per year. Here's how it avoids waste

About 7,000 meals are prepared everyday in the kitchen at the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal, or CHUM. But many meals would end in the garbage if it wasn’t for a special program to help those in need.
