After years-long battle, Halifax woman gets out-of-province surgery paid for by N.S.

After years of fighting for access to medical care outside of Nova Scotia, the province is now paying for Jennifer Brady’s treatment in New Jersey. The move comes after the Halifax woman won a court case and the premier publicly apologized for how she was treated.
